It was possible to pass many informations. Now I am able to continue my family story, writing about the American Branch.
Pietro de Sanctis had became "Peter DeSanctis". He started his medical practice at 145 Olive St. New Haven, Connecticut. His 8th child Albert George was born in April 1897 and died in 1964. In 1903 after nine years they moved to 125 Thompson Street, NewYork City, NY. His son Nicholas Michael became a doctor in 1909 and joined him in his medical practice. Peter died On January 20 ,1910 at the age of 59 for a meningitis. He was able to see his son Nicholas Michel as a doctor, his son Vincent as a lawyer, his oldest daughter Alfonsina married to a pharmacist, Antonio Masi and his second daughter Theresa also married to a pharmacist, Vincent Timpone. He organized the Italian Medical Society of New York City. His spouse, Rose Pinto, died on June 16, 1930, 78 West 12th Street, New York.
The sacrifices of Dr. Nicholas Michael allowed to his brothers Adolph and Albert to became a doctor and a pharmacist.
In 1934 The Young Men's Society of Castelgrande offered a Dinner Dance in honour of Dr. Nicholas Michael DeSanctis. Click here to see the pictures and the names of the guests.
Peter DeSanctis' family developed and prospered in America. I've counted 10 of his descendants at least who have his name, Peter.
