Testa

Ecco la testa con la camma frontale che ha reso famosa la motoleggera. La molla che sormonta la camma tiene in posizione gli alberi dei bilancieri. Durante la rimozione della testa la fase puo' essere conservata. Portando entrambe le valvole in chiusura prima di rimuovere la testa si impedisce la rotazione della camma e se si lascia l'albero della distribuzione fermo la fase e' automaticamente ripristinata al rimontaggio. Dato che la pista incisa sulla camma e' stretta per non aumentare la pressione del bilanciere su una porzione ridotta e' importante curare il gioco assiale con opportune rondelle acciaiose di spallamento che lascino lavorare il naso del bilanciere esattamente in centro alla pista pena il deterioramento rapido delle alzate come e' accaduto al motore in esame. Che fatica trovare un camma sport !!!

Il cambio riassemblato

Il gruppo cambio con l'albero primario viene riassemblato all' esterno del monoblocco per poi essere introdotto dal lato sinistro e chiuso, con un carter a forma di "otto", sulla destra. Nel monoblocco deve essere stato montato l' albero motore con tutti i suoi componenti, in modo tale da poter regolare con precisione il gioco della coppia conica primaria. Questo per evitare la rumorosita' e il deterioramento della dentatura.

The gearbox with primary shaft it is reassembled out of monobloc, after it is inserted on the left side and closed on the right with guard shaped as "eigth". Inside the monobloc must be found place the crank shaft with all its components, so to permit to tuning with precision the clearance of primary conic couple. Il Motore completato

Il motore finito ha un aspetto affascinante. Il carburatore montato e' un MA18B con cornetto lungo contrariamente al carburatore originale del tipo MA16B con cornetto corto. La sostituzione e' stata fatta non perche' non vi sia disponibilita' di carburatori ma perche' come allora la voglia di guadagnare qualche Km/h non passa mai. Inoltre il motore ben supporta questa variante. La scelta originale probabilmente la si deve alla volonta' di contenere i consumi.

The engine finished show fascinating look. The installed carburettor is type MA18B with long horn instead of original type MA16B with short horn. The substitution was made, none for difficult to foud correct type but, because today as at that time, the wish to increase the speed of a few Km/h is never less. The original choice may be found in the will to contain the fuel consumption.
