BUILD YOUR NOBLER IN PAPER

Aldrich flew higher, leaving an empty space in our souls.
But in 1952 he left us a little airplane, destined to become a myth in Control Line Stunt circles: the Nobler.
In 2002, it will be celebrated the 50th year of this imperishable design, and we want give you a little free gift. A pair of scissors, a bit of glue, an evening of work and you will have a little paper Nobler for the top of your desktop. The model was designed on original plans published in June 1952 Model Airplanes News issue - retaining the old clockwise flying attitude - and colourized as for the renowned George's "Number 2" specimen, NATs winner.
Download the file, print it on thick glossy paper (about 160gr/mq) and...have fun!

Aldrich ha volato più in alto, lasciandoci un vuoto incolmabile.
Ma nel 1952 lui ci aveva lasciato il progetto di un acrobatico destinato a diventare una leggenda: il Nobler.
Nel 2002 potremo festeggiare il cinquantenario di questo mitico progetto, e vogliamo farvi un piccolo regalo. Un paio di forbici, un po' di colla, una serata di lavoro, ed avrete un piccolo Nobler di carta che farà bella figura posato sul vostro monitor. Il modello è stato realizzato sulla base dei disegni originali pubblicati sul numero di giugno del 1952 sulla rivista Model Airplane News - rispettando l'oggi desueto senso di rotazione orario - e colorato come lo era il celebre "Numero 2" di George, quello che vinse le Nazionali U.S.A.
