What things have gone wrong with the car? Since I purchased my contour there have been numerous recalls. I have had to replace three batteries, I have had three sets of brand new tires put on and out of the months August and September I had my car a total of seven days.

What things have gone wrong with the car? 1.7 liter motor needed replacement shortly after I purchased the car. Main bearings were bad, so I replaced the engine with a 1.8 Fox motor with only 100kms on it.

I don't consider Acura a luxury car. I owned a 2001 TL which needed a mission replacement at 60,000 and again at 80,000. I find that ridius. My 1996 ES300 had close to 200,000 when I sold it to get the Acura. I am now in a LS430 which is by far nicer than any Acura or Mercedes in my mind.

Clutch Replaced at 153000 miles. Main seal replaced at 153000. Transmission seals replaced at 160000. Nothing major, repair parts and cost are very affordable.

I own a 99 S80 T6. I purchased it a few years ago at 45000 miles under the Volvo Certified used car program. Thankfully, the program included an extended warranty, which I used extensively until it expired earlier this year.
