La formica che è formata da molecole uguali alle nostre, come delimiterà il suo universo? Noi, nei confronti dell'universo conosciuto da alcuni secoli, non siamo forse come una formica che esplora qualche decina di metri quadrati? Come potremmo, con i mezzi attuali, raggiungere le stelle se con i propulsori a disposizione occorrerebbero centinaia di migliaia di anni?
...........Ci si chiede: Come si possono risolvere problemi elaborando tante incognite ed ottenendo poi un ipotetico risultato propagandato come verità assoluta?

E' vero che i neuroni, con le sinapsi si collegano e migliorano sempre più la nostra intelligenza? E' vero che i neuroni sono le cellule nobili del nostro corpo come l'uomo è nobile tra gli esseri viventi fino ad ora conosciuti? Il neurone può essere cosciente di essere parte di un individuo o è più credibile che possa esplorare un suo piccolo universo avvalendosi delle sinapsi così come l'uomo potrà esplorare e forse allacciare contatti con extraterrestri avvalendosi di sonde e di radiotelescopi?

Ecco allora una probabile spiegazione perchè le cellule buone, istintivamente contrastano le cattive, gli uomini buoni, contrastano i cattivi, li contrastano o cercano di correggerli, di correggere le anormalità, di correggere le tendenze di cellule o di individui a distruggere invece di migliorare e progredire e istintivamente questo succede per uno scopo del quale non conosciamo le finalità. E allora ben venga il contributo della scienza che però con modestia, riconosca di volta in volta i suoi limiti e poi, libertà ai sani istinti e alla Fede per quanto non ci è possibile vedere o comprendere.

Un'aggregazione di molecole è anche l'uomo che cresce e muore ma prima di questo evento disgregante può procreare creature che sono, di generazione in generazione, sempre migliori intellettualmente e fisicamente. Nell'universo non avverrà un fenomeno uguale? Vi sono galassie che si scontrano, stelle che esplodono o si disintegrano formando polvere cosmica, però gli atomi e le molecole tendono a riunirsi tra di loro e le nebulose formano nuove stelle e le stelle nuove galassie. Ci si chiede: l'universo sarà come il cervello umano nel quale i neuroni si aggregano avvalendosi delle sinapsi e prima della disintegrazione, della morte, nei nuovi individui generati, danno origine a cervelli più validi e complessi? E se il cervello o il pianeta Terra, per una catastrofe, si riducessero in polvere e radiazioni, ci si chiede, potrebbe essere non la fine ma una evoluzione perché con nuove aggregazioni si crei un universo sempre più integrato e più funzionale come avviene nell'uomo che attraverso morti (disgregazioni) e nascite (aggregazioni), dopo millenni, è senza dubbio migliorato?
..........Le stelle, potrebbero essere come le cellule di un organismo umano. Le galassie che gettano ponti di materia tra di loro, emettono energia anche sotto forma di luce, onda elettromagnetica che secondo Einstain viaggerebbe alla più alta velocità che si possa raggiungere (circa 300.000 chilometri al secondo) e, afferema sempre Einstain, se la velocità di un corpo raggiungesse questa velocità della luce, il tempo si arresterebbe. Allora, i neuroni del nostro cervello che con le sinapsi si collegano ad altre cellule formando reti neuronali, emettono anche loro energia sotto forma di intelligenza che viaggia ad alta velocità, velocità che può fermare il tempo quando esamina l'attimo presente e può andare oltre ricordando il passato e se nell'universo, superando la velocità della luce, si vedesse il passato?
..........Il cervello e forse anche l'universo, con sempre maggiori aggregazioni, potrebbero proiettarsi in un futuro armoniosamente integrato e sempre più cosciente.



ESISTE VITA INTELLIGENTE NELL'UNIVERSO?

...........La consapevolezza che nella nostra galassia vi sono oltre cento miliardi di stelle e che le galassie sono centinaia e centinaia di miliardi, depone a favore dell'esistenza di possibili altre intelligenze evolute.
..........E' accertato che nello spazio conosciuto le molecole sono uguali a quelle che compongono gli esseri viventi della Terra e ciò è provato esaminando anche alcune comete che con la loro orbita si spingono oltre il sistema solare (certe, anche di qualche anno luce). Una di queste è la cometa Austin nella quale sono state scoperte molecole organiche (Marzo 1991) e nei frammenti della cometa Scoemaker-Levj 9, caduti su Giove (Luglio 1994) dove gli strumenti hanno registrato la presenza di metano, ammoniaca, ossido di carbonio, acqua, acido solfidrico, zolfo, etilene, acido cianidrico, ecc. Ci si chiede: è azzardato dire che l'universo sembra essere fatto in modo tale da poter ospitare la vita intelligente?
..........La possibilità che attorno a moltissime stelle vi siano dei sistemi planetari è ormai ampiamente accettata. La scoperta di pianeti di tipo terrestre ci permetterebbe forse di scoprire altre forme di vita, altre civiltà intelligenti, però le teorie e queste eventuali scoperte non riusciranno a dissipare il buio che riguarda l'origine dell'universo (Big-bang, universo stazionario o altro?) e la domanda "da dove veniamo?" resta senza risposta e sembra opportuno che la scienza, pur progredendo con sempre nuove scoperte, accetti i propri limiti, senza essere dogmatica con teorie non sperimentate, lasciando alla Religione l'intuizione o la certezza dell'esistenza di un Dio e che in noi ci sia la coscienza della nostra piccolezza perché, forse, siamo nei confronti dell'universo come la cellula nervosa "neurone" che convive con altri dieci o venti miliardi di neuroni che sono nel nostro cervello e anche se con le "sinapsi" si collegano tra di loro formando reti neuronali che contengono i misteri del pensiero, forse, il singolo neurone, non ha la consapevolezza dell'entità umana di cui fa parte.
..........A questo punto siamo curiosi di sapere se sarà il collegamento con altre civiltà evolute che ci consentirà di conoscere quale è la nostra collocazione e funzione nell'universo e poiché le molecole del nostro cervello sono senz'altro più nobili di quelle delle unghie e le associazioni di molecole del pianeta Terra sembrano più evolute di quelle dei corpi celesti che, per adesso, abbiamo potuto osservare, sarà opportuno studiare ancora e andare oltre.



CIVILTA' EXTRATERRESTRI.

..........I "mattoni della vita", gli amminoacidi, sono molecole contenenti atomi di acqua, metano, ammoniaca, ecc. e sono stati rintracciati su meteoriti. Da una ventina di tipi di questi atomi si formano le proteine e le proteine formano le cellule di piante, batteri e animali. Anche questa constatazione oltre a quelle descritte nei capitoli precedenti, ci sprona a cercare di stabilire contatti con civiltà di pianeti che secondo ricerche recenti, costituirebbero una presenza normale attorno alle stelle.
..........Un ulteriore contributo a queste ricerche lo darà la missione Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) che si avvarrà anche di una sonda dotata di un telescopio ultravioletto (Lancio previsto nel 2001) che potrà osservare galassie a distanza di qualche miliardo di anni luce.
..........Lo space telescope (H.S.T.), se fosse dotato di una strumentazione specifica, potrebbe osservare pianeti intorno a stelle distanti anche qualche centinaio di anni luce, ma la speranza più consistente per stabilire contatti con civiltà di altri pianeti è riposta nei radiotelescopi che, da stelle di tipo solare ne troppo calde ne troppo fredde i cui pianeti si trovino in una appropriata fascia ristretta, sono in grado di rivelare una eventuale emittente di extraterrestri anche a distanze di decine di anni luce ma, purtroppo, civiltà più evolute della nostra, potrebbero utilizzare forme di segnali di cui non sospettiamo nemmeno l'esistenza e forse siamo già circondati da comunicazioni extraterrestri che siamo incapaci di raccogliere e decifrare.
..........Lo scambio di informazioni con altre civiltà di altri pianeti, potrebbe arricchirci di conoscenze e forse, tra millenni o miliardi di anni, chi vivrà potrà salvarsi da un'eventuale distruzione del nostro pianeta o del sistema solare, distruzione che ci ridurrebbe in polvere, polvere che aggregandosi ricostruirebbe altre stelle più complesse e giovani, di "popolazione prima".
