Modem Bridged & Router capable???
Just got my ASDL line up the other day, and hooked up my new Billion 7300M ADSL Router. that one in Bridged mode, connect it say port 4 on my Billion 7300M, and connect the 7300M in router mode from say port 1 to my ethernet card.

If I use the Ethernet port to connect, after a while it will have a generic host error which I then have to reboot to fix as it stops all network connections and stops your pc from restarting (I have to push reset button :( )

Well its going on 4 years since I last bought an ADSL Router/Modem and on Saturday After battling like hell with the Ethernet etc, I switched over and connected to using its ethernet connection as currently it works pretty well USB

How Do I Set Up A Internet Gateway?
I currently have a Linksys router (WRT300N) which does NOT have an ADSL modem built in. The router requires you to connect an DSL ethernet modem/router to gain internet access (via a blue network socket).

The root of the WIFI lily in the common variant is “Broadband” ADSL, thus providing internet access (so I guess If the access network is wireless Ethernet, then surely the best backhaul network has got to be an optical Ethernet one?
