DAM CD
Regular CD

1. DAM CDs are almost like regular CDs, but in addition they also have multimedia features. Put the CD in your pc, and a slick interface appears on your monitor with photos, artist infos, a playlist containing every song on the album in MP3 format, lyrics and more. However the audio tracks are made by MP3 files, so not same quality as regular CD's.

2. Price.  Often DAM CDs are very low priced.  If you're tight on cash, a DAM CD can be a good way to buy great music at cheap prices.They are printed and distributed on www.mp3.com.

3. Variety.  Because of the ease and flexibility to make a DAM CD, some songs or special versions are available on DAM CDs only. Our DAM versions of official albums are presented in Light Edition, due to minor space available on the disc. 
1. Sound Quality.  Digital 16bit - 44.1 khz format quality at full potential. Not just the low quality made from mp3 files as on DAM CDs.

2. Artwork.  You get a full color booklet containing all the artwork, lyrics, credits of the album. 

3. Extra Songs  Regular CDs can use all of space available on cd format, because it's filled with audio datas only. So you can find extra tracks on regular and full albums: till 74 minutes or even more of great music!

4. New releases: At the moment new works and new albums are available only as regular CDs, not on DAM CDs on mp3.com. So no choice! 

 
SUMMARY:  If you're tight on cash, and don't mind particularly about mp3's audio quality of DAM CDs... SUMMARY:  If you really like the artist, wish best audio quality and want great graphics too, order the regular CD, not the Light Editions of DAM CD's.
