* 31/3/03: on the 28th and 29th march we held in Spilimbergo (north east of Venice) the first NoITA Meeting. On friday evening, despite the large amount of Guinness and Pale Ale drank by the lads, we were able to discuss some issue concerning the club. New sweatshirts are to be produced and we started planning our 2003 trip. The Dortmund match - even though it is extremely appeling - is no longer on the list, due to various problems concerning the travel and the tickets.
We decided to pencil down two trips, one in august when Joe will travel to Murrayfield when the Scots will face Italy, while Mauro and Fede will board the plane in october to attent the match against Lithuania.
On the saturday afternoon we organised the 1st "Beer Bellies Trophy", where we weren't able to produce a skilled footballing unit. These are the results: Carcass-Anonimi giallorossi= 5-10, NoITA-Carcass= 0-11, Anonimi giallorossi-NoITA= 14-0.
Our players were Federico (NoITA Sanremo Brigade), Joe (NoITA Loch Como), Simone, Robert, Mauro and Beppe goal (NoITA North East Brigade). Despite the poor performances on the pitch we had a great time and the Meeting was extremely succesful. Thanks go out to all those who took part in it, to Mauro for organising the event, to his family for providing us with accomodations, to "Monsieur D" pub, ti "Il Buso" and to "Agli Amici" restaurant. Roll on to 2004!
