1966 Jeep Gladiator
First Our New 1946 Ford Tractor, then the Hudson Super Wasp, and now this 1966 Jeep Gladiator, which came to visit us for Deer Season (the official holiday of West Virginia). This is in original condition, and had only 28000 miles on it

From everything I had read, the Gladiator was supposed to be a JK from the B Pillar forward, then we hear that no, it was a whole different platform. Build it, make it look cool and sell 75K frigging Gladiators every year.

hey i think a jeep pickup is a great idea and i would love to see it added to the lineup. but i keep hearing money is tight at chrysler group…and i would much rather see the development funds spent on a decent 5 speed automatic

I agree with Alex that somewhere in the 75000 range is do-able for a well-executed small pickup that has the Jeep cachet, appealing styling, and is economical to operate. Pickups,by definition, do not have to be Trail Rated.

by the way, saw my first sebring parked on the road tonight. it was locked up but i went over for a look. the headlamps looked absolutely enormous. it was white and seemed to be the base model…no brightwork to speak of and the interior
Jeep passes on producing Gladiator concept
Introduced at the 2005 Detroit auto show, the Gladiator concept was based on a unique platform though would have likely shared underpinnings with the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited if produced. The Chrysler Group's COO Eric Ridenour told
