Depression of "Chott el Jerid" at dawn. It is a big depression large over than 150 km and high 80, where in the summer the temperature are over 50 degree. It's a big salt lake. Few years ago was built a road that cut in the half eht depression. Before the road, the only possibilities were the camel and the jeep.

It is a wide, large plat where the water is low (in summer become steam) and with the solid salt are mixed. The picture of the reflections it's a fantastic immage. It is wonderful. Febbruary and March are peraps the best months for a visit : the temperature are not too high and the low water allow this nice reflections. Who go there in july and agust will find only a white evaporeted salt lake and will be normal have a mirage with high temperatures.

The famous oasi of Tozeur. Tozeur was built near the depression of Chott el Jerid, exacltly at nord-west. The oasi is too wide and cover many km of surface.
