Prototype of the world famous Asahi Pentax 6x7. Specifications very close to the mass-produced 6x7, introduced to the word's markets in June 1969.

A still video camera, seen in 1983 photo magazines. B&W photo stored on floppy-disk. No data available.
prsvc88t.jpg (4802 byte) EI-C? still video camera (1988)
Name unknown to me (maybe EI-C50 or EI-C60). Analog still video camera, seen in 1988 photo magazines. B&W photo stored on floppy-disk. Zoom 3x. 10sec. audio recording allowed.
prsvc90t.jpg (4825 byte) EI-C70 still video camera (1990)
Analog still video camera. Hi-band 2" floppy-disk. 8-24mm f2.8-5.6 zoom lens. Active IR autofocus. Shutter speeds 1/8 to 1000 sec. at 5fps. A special accessory (EI-A70) allowed 10 to 20sec. audio recording.

Color digital still video camera, displayed at PMA1996. 768x480 pixel resolution. The mass-produced version featured small improvements over the prototype and was put on sale in July 1997.
mr52t.jpg (10735 byte) MR52 digital SLR camera (2000)
Digital SLR camera, displayed at Photokina 2000, jointly developed with Philips Semiconductors. Full frame (24x36mm) 6Mpixel resolution and Pentax bayonet mount. It was abandoned in October 2001.
ei3000t.jpg (11818 byte) EI-3000 digital SLR camera (2001)
Digital SLR camera, displayed at PMA2001. 3Mpixel resolution and 3x zoom lens. Jointly developed with Hewlett-Packard, it was intended as an improvement over the EI-2000. The mass-produced version never saw light.
