The edge of a 3 Centesimi 1826 - L - Eagle head (Turin mint); the 3 Centesimi type, struck under Carlo Felice and Vittorio Emanuele II (no mint mark) has plain edge. But this coin has reeded edge (there're little traces, but they're evident); maybe it had been an overstrucking proceeding (but there aren't known archive's documents about), but there weren't contemporaneous copper coins with reeded edge (and with this diameter)! This coin, found in Oct. 2000, is an inexplicable variety. If someone can make a hypotesis, contact us!
